  Good tennis game but could be better

  Pros: Nice that you can make your own players. The Arcade games is nice and so it the coaching sessions on World Tour. The player roster is okay with most of the major players represented. Plays best with the Wii motion plus.

  Cons: No replay. You'd like to relive your good moments. The ball moves so fast it's hard to see would like a different view of the court. You can only make one female player the rest males.

  Summary: This game is a good representation of what it is like to play real tennis. It is difficult to become number one in the pro ranks. The World tour game is good and the tennis academy helps you learn shots. I like that you don't have to press any buttons in order to hit the ball. That's the most like real tennis. It's too bad that it doesn't have replay and that you can't make more of your own players. It's also hard to see the ball since it's so small would like some other court views.

  Summary: Real tennis fan here, real life and gamewise. I played every single title starting on the NES! I was real excited for this one reading the previews because they were so positive. I actually thought the Wii tennis game on sports was quite ok, way too simplistic but fun with friends. So how would an greatly improved version of this look like.
  
  Well it looks good (great actually), plays what you expect from it and it all works quite well. The real problem is that for any advanced play like you are used to from Virtua Tennis or topspin it can't be done with the motionplus. Serve Volley play is quite impossible. With the options you got it just gets bored to quick, and makes it too easy to play because you can still beat anyone with basic shots. This makes a simple sports game even more simple because all you do is serve and hit groundstrokes. Then again that sounds alot like modern tennis : )
