Summary: I bought this because it had the PoE option and it had good revews. I also wanted to use the wireless N option. Working ok for most users. Connection is a little spotty for some. When you change the IP address there is a "save" button but you have to also click the "Configuration" tab at the top and "Save and Activate". I could not access the device after changing the IP because I did not "Save and Activate". It is working fine on my corporate network. iPhone and iPad users losing access. Laptops with N cards were also having issues staying connected. I called support for help but after 20 minutes on hold I just left a voicemail. I never got a call back. There may be some settings to fix the issue. Firmware is the latest. Dont know until I speak with support. I wish there was a way to separate the two bands bith separate SSID connections. Does not look like you can. Other lesser models allow you to.
Pros: It works fine if you don't mind having an unaccessible Configuration Menu once you change its IP address to match your subnet
Cons: Look the Pros

Summary: I saw the reviews and they were great. So I purchased one, installed, accessed its Configuration Menu to change its IP address to match the company network, saved the setting and the AP connected perfectly. The problem was trying to access the Configuration Menu via its new IP address. I couldn't even ping the AP even though like I said, it was broadcasting fine. After trying unsuccessfuly for a few minutes (even resetting the unit and providing it with other IP addresses), I called D-Link support. The techie had no idea what was wrong.
People, be aware you may have what it looks a working unit but you may not access its Configuration Menu at all. Anyway, I'm returning the crappy thing back today.

This is best achieved by using the DWA-160 together with a draft 802.11n quadband router such as the D-Link DIR-855. The DWA-160 supports Wireless N signals in either the 2.4 or 5 GHz frequency range. This allows you to check e-mail and browse the Internet using the 2.4GHz band while reserving the 5GHz band for streaming HD movies and other media. The DWA-160 is also backward compatible, which means it can be used in existing 802.11g or 802.11a networks to enable significantly improved reception.
Wireless Capability This product uses the draft version of the upcoming 802.11n standard. Its compatibility with other and future products is not guaranteed, and it may interfere with current 802.11b and g products.
