Great little Access point

Pros: Reliable, very simple to setup, good range, small

Set and forget

Pros: Reliable, fast, compact, good range, value

Summary: I've had this AP for over 5 years, still going strong. I currently use it as a repeater, it gives my household great WiFI coverage, the only time it drops out is when the power is cut from it.
Only problem I have is when having to set up to connect to the router itself, but I don't have any trouble with the set up interface itself. (More trying to remember it's IP address because I never need to to access the settings interface).
In order to use it as a repeater, I needed to give it a firmware upgrade, which is never for those un-tech-savvy, but units on the shelf today should have the newer firmware already installed.

The DWL-G700AP provides maximum security by supporting standard WEP 64/128-bit data encryption and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), which includes support for TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol), Pre Shared Key (PSK) and 802.1x user authentication (used in conjunction with a RADIUS server).
