The AP can operate with or without a wireless controller and support all the same enterprise features as the prior HP MSM wireless products, in addition to the features, such as beamforming, bandsteering, and concurrent 5 GHz operation. The MSM466-R access point also supports a range of MIMO antennas, while the MSM466-R access point is in an outdoor enclosure and is designed to work under adverse conditions.
