Very bad device. Stay away from it.

Pros: None. There is nothing about this unit that is any good.
Cons: This unit cant even be reliable from 4 feet away.
Tech support hasnt a clue.
Worst product ever.

Very short signal range despite being highest in family

Cons: 1) Very poor signal range
2) Got it for $97

It was exactly located behind my room wooden door (1 meter away) and showed 1 bar missing of the signal strength.

I bought this for range and USB hard drive support

Pros: Not much. It looks good and has the ability to create a home NAS with a USB hard drive.
Cons: The range is far shorter than I expected, maybe 100'. My connection gets dropped multiple times throughout the day. Even when the connection is up I loose access to the networked hard drive.
It needs to be power cycled at least once a week.
Summary: I would not recommend this or any other Linksys product. They are not up to the Cisco expected quality. You pay a premium for Cisco and get garbage.

Summary: i needed to connect my xbox360 to my wireless network for TV streaming and the 'box's own adapter is total inadequate so i got this thing and it works much better. Be warned though, i am using it with my Apple Time Capsule, set to wireless-N (not b/g compatible) and the signal gets dropped every 30 minutes and i have to reset the 610 by unplugging it.
