Pros: Strong, pure tone; sweet ballad sound, or hard-rock growl

Summary: I have had my yamaha alto for a few years now and I have also played the tenor and bari while I was still in school so I decided I was ready to look for a soprano. Never playing one before, I didn't know what to expect. So I went to a great music store and tried this yamaha out and I fell in love with it. It had such a great price so I bought it that day. I arrange music for it along with trumpet, french horn, bari sax, bass guitar, and drums for my band and it can have such a sweet sound for a ballad or a hard growl for rockin' it out. My only suggestion is that if your playing alot in the way upper octave (D,E,F,F#), you use a thicker read. It was such a great buy and I have absolutely no regrets.
