RIP Ace Combat Franchise : from original to mainstream

Pros: amazing details and FX (big explosions and damage to buildings)
easy to play to players new to flying games
expanding to helicopter missions
Cons: changed controls from previous AC games
DFM (Dog Fight Mode) very pointless and takes too long
same repetitive process (DFM to win)
move towards a "Call of Duty" type shooter
boring.

Summary: I've been an avid Ace Combat player since Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies, and this is a huge disappointment. The franchise has moved from an original flying fight game to a "Call of Duty" type shooter. Extremely disappointed with the game, the controls do pretty much all the work for you (DFM, really?) All the realism I felt while playing AC games is completely gone now. DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIKED THE PREVIOUS AC GAMES.

Why did i have to pay so much for this

Pros: -lots of well done explosions
-movies look good
-locations look well done
Cons: -don't buy and sell aircraft
-combat is to easy
-helicopter combat is glitchy and unrefined
-use of real countries makes the story bland and predictable
-the use of real countries means that there are no massive boss fights against things like flying airc

Namco took ace combat went off the beaten track and went straight into a tree.
