Fun game...for about 4 hours

Pros: -love the free running ability

-characters have natural, flowing movements

Summary: It is a great game for the first half of the campaign, but after about four hours, everything is virtually the same, and you are asked to complete identical tasks for every mission. Also, after you complete the painfully long campaign, you have nothing left to do but wander around the expansive maps of the game. Bottom line, it's the first game of it's kind, and it's very unique, but with several cons. I that, if you can, buy it cheap. If not, rent it for about a week and I guarentee you'll be done with it

Love this game, but as other reviews said Repetitive!

Pros: Graphics are awesome. Love the real life ancient maps, and the combat system is really fun but its kinda easy after a while which i didn't really like. The gameplay is really fun as well, I love running and jumping on rooftops and you can go anywhere
Cons: Like nearly every other review said very repetitive, you play the same missions over and over again do the same investigations and then you eventually kill someone. Still fun but you know .

Most repetitive game I've ever played...

Pros: Great visuals
Stealth kills are fun
Cons: - Did I mention repetitive? I can't stress that enough, every chapter or mission is exactly the same with the exception of the final boss.
Once you get the hang of the fighting it is repetitive(again), boring, and fairly easy.

Summary: The description sounds like the editor played about max 1 hour of the game. If I had stopped there I might agree with the assessment. However, you quickly realize that everything is repeated. This includes voices/dialogue of the sidequests. Types of sidequests(same three over and over). And the fighting turns into a simple wait/counter fighting style that's gets very boring and nearly impossible to lose. No challenge there.
I stopped playing the game after a few hours because it just wasn't fun anymore. I've never commented here before, but I couldn't let the editor's rating be what you made your decision on. It's either very biased(making the most boring overdone parts of the game sound like pure entertainment), or like I said earlier, based on a very short window of playing time.
Either way, purchase at your own risk...

Sweet idea & great graphics, but painfully repetitive

Pros: -Great Graphics
-Good, easy to learn controls
-Good idea for the game
-Pretty cool cinematics
Cons: -Every mission is basically the same...climb on a roof to get the map of the area, then pickpocket some guy and eavesdrop some people talking to find out who you must assassinate, then assassinate him and return to the HQ. Same thing every level.
Summary: Overall, this game is not worth it unless you have a HDTV and want to gawk at its prettiness. I dont have HDTV so....meh.
