  Explore with more weapon choices than an armory.

  Pros: With rugged style and detailed weaponry, this game certainly lives up to the classification of "Action - first person shooter".

  Cons: This game is really meant to be played with multiple people, and can get frustrating for a solo player.

  Summary: Now, while Borderlands 2 has recently been released, some may find playing at least portions of the first game quite a useful style gauge and helpful story guide. After all, it is cheaper to see if you like this game in the series first.
  First of all, Borderlands is an intense game, from the action and plot, to the shooting, and bold design style, everything here is made to keep you moving and energized. Anyone looking for a game to relieve stress by taking down alien creatures in what looks almost like the moon's version of the Wild West, this is absolutely the game for you. With high-paced missions, some all about timing that perfect shot, quick weapon and ability change and reasonable training and level development, the game plays quite well for those who wish to do something right now.
  Sadly, pacifists will get no particularly friendly options in this game, because the one thing this game revolves around other than its plot are: weapons and combat abilities. Of course, the plot is a decent one if you like to pay attention to it, and still interesting it you don't, but the weapons allow for the player to really tune the character into their own play style. The variety in weapon classes, sub-classes and ammo types beats out many other games by the shear volume of different combinations, several of which can often be used in succession for the best effect, and that's not to mention the other special customizable abilities.
  One particular draw back to this game is the real design of it for multiple people to be playing it together at the same time. I personally know of several instances when playing on my own that having even one more teammate probably would have saved me a few deaths and do-overs. Despite this, it is still quite engaging for someone who wishes to collect all the loot for himself or herself.
  And of course, one cannot forget the actions of the hilarious Claptrap, a pseudo robot friend who likes to dance to his own beat when no one's looking.
