Great game with some minor disappointments

Summary: While this game boasts many wonderful features, especially multi-player, I wanted to provide a very detail critical review to discuss overlooked frustrations and disadvantages of the game. since you can find praise on the game everywhere. This game is by far one of the best games I have played to date. That being said there are some disappointments and frustrations that can be rather annoying especially for those just starting out in the game.
First back step from COD3 is the lack of manable vehicles. While this isn't a deal breaker the maps on COD4 are rather large for the most part. Sometimes, especially in smaller games it makes the game feel slower.
Second back step from COD3 is the inability to play multiple players on the same Xbox on live. This feature was fun for COD3 and it's just not available in COD4.
Annoyance 1. COD4 provides you bonuses for kill streaks which is very rewarding. However if your the new guy and air raids and helicopters keep taking you out it becomes very difficult to get acclimated. Additionally the helicopter makes some rather exaggerated and annoying kills at times.
Annoyance 2. The customizability and depth that COD4 provides is terrific however, coming in new can be frustrating because everyone seems to have better guns and abilities then you. While you get to start out with any gun you want... the enemy can to.
Annoyance 3. The match making in this game leaves something to be desired. Matchmaking is a lot quicker then I have seen with other shooters recently, however it sometimes throws you into grossly disproportiante teams at times.2 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: Has enough of a variety of guns.
The campaign was interesting, was hard on vet.
The graphics were descent.Cons: The maps on online, look like they were maps from the old the call of duty games, but with some twists.(Not good ones). I still get hit markers on people but when I watch the killcam, it says i didnt even shot the gun,(lol).

Just picture this, You go up to someone and you shoot them point-blank in the face with a pistol, or machine gun, OR ANYTHING (that isnt a sniper), now what should happen?
If you said headshot death, im sorry, but thats not what happens. What happens is that person is crittically injured for a few seconds but soon recovers--- to take another blow to the face and live. Dosent sound too realistic now does it? No...
So i would NEVER recommend this game to anyone who want realism. I would suggest Quantum of Solace or Medal Of Honor if you want fun and realistic. not phoney bologna (pronounced baloney) fake stuff. -
This is the best game of all time

Pros: The graphics are unbelievably realistic, the characters are easy to bond with, and the plot is amazing. It is very fun to play online because you can custumize your guns and as you level up you unlock new and better guns and I like the perk system
Cons: Captain Price and Gaz die in the end. I know that might not seem like a big deal but I hate it in movies or games where the main characters die. Also like all the Call Of Duty games on xbox live you cannot have xbox live guests unlike in Halo 3

In my opinion, its better than halo3; better frame rate, more stuff to do, unlockables, faster paced, more laughs, not as repetitive and less annoying brats.
