dungeon crawler with fun gameplay

Pros: 1. fun combat system where you can use the environment against your enemies
2. variety in the gameplay, you don't just sneak and shoot
3. four character classes with different combat styles
4. good soundtrack
5. a classic Fantasy storyline
Cons: You need to save very often because the game's own autosave system is not good and cannot be relied on.

I did not think the combat was any more repetitive than in the Dark Souls, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout, Dragon Age and Fable games. Nor did I find the storyline any weaker than in the same said games.
I enjoyed Dark Messiah a lot, it was FUN. It is not 100% perfect but few games are, for example: the "bug & loading"-fest you get in Skyrim, the ugly character graphics in Oblivion, the thin storyline in Dark Souls, and the ridiculusly weak enemies in Fable. I don't think any of these games are bad but I want to imprint a sense of objectivity on whoever is reading this.
My point is a game does not have to be perfect for me to enjoy it.
So if you go into this game with an open mind you might have as much fun playing it as I did.
