Summary: Wow. this game is completely awesome. I was expecting a lot from 2k7 since I have been a hardcore 2k6 fan. I have been playing that game throughout the winter and was very impressed with everything in 2k7. The graphics are awesome and the game play is super smooth. I’m also a fan of the soundtrack in this game. I’ve been rocking the game in HD and it really looks sick. Any baseball fan this is a must game. I have it for xbox360 and I have played it on ps3. Both awesome. This game brings back the excitement when I first got RBI baseball for Nintendo.
Cons: Lack of customization, sometimes hard to see ball in the field

Summary: This game makes 2K6 look like it was created by 5 year olds. It is much better on sooooooo many levels. It is such a good game, gameplay is more life like, swings more fluid and true to life (swing stick), etc.
One wierd thing is the trades during the season...I, being from NYC, play as the Yankees, I played Boston the first go around and they were normal, as were the Mets...second go around had Carlos Beltran leading off and in CF and Lastings Milledge batting second in LF for the Sox...have not played the Mets again, but can't wait to see Coco Crisp on the team.
Also, it can sometimes be hard to see the ball in te field on sunny days, playing at night it is much easier to field.
I also remember reading, somewhere, that playlists would be customizable. Alot of people were looking forward to customizing their home stadium's playlists to match the real life counterparts...this is not an option. The only way to have your own music in the game is the 2KBeats, which plays your music on the menus, or the 360's music player that you can use on any game. The Stadium Beats can only be customized to fit within the games original tracklist...which is not bad, but is not my music.
Being able to introduce an expansion team to any city and have a custom stadium would be nice...even if we had to select from a list of 5 or 6 multi purpose stadiums, that would be cool. But to go through the expansion draft, etc...would be a lot of fun. That would be a true franchise mode, building a team from the ground up.
Otherwise, this is a good game that has the potential to be great down the road when Brinkman really sinks his teeth into his 3 year project. For now though, we have a homerun
