  Fans of REAL monopoly...DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

  Pros: The ONLY thing that I found appealing about this game is how much it made me appreciate the actual board version of Monopoly. Other than that, the pro's are non-existant

  Cons: Predictable, unrealistic and seemingly poorly programmed. The computer AI players play the same way each game and the difficulty setting only increases the human player's chance of getting terrible rolls. Not realistic AT ALL!

  Summary: I was very excited when I brought this game home, being an avid board-gamer. Monopoly is a family classic and the fun of the game comes from the uncertainty of how the dice will roll. Its much like gambling, without all the risk. The problem with Hasbro's Monopoly on XBOX 360 is that there is no uncertainty. The programming of this game seems to be based on nothing other than Murphy's law. Often times you will find that you have made it around the board 2 or 3 times (from the start of the game) without landing on a single unowned property. If you are doing well, by some miracle, you will undoubtedly land on another player's monopoly two rolls in a row. Its predictability makes it much, MUCH less fun than the actual board game. There IS a difficulty setting, but it doesn't seem to improve the strategy of the AI players, but merely the chance that the human player will roll the dice much more unfavorably. As I said before, I am a HUGE fan of the Monopoly board game, but if you are buying this expecting the same kind of excitement and fun, save your money. You will be sorely disappointed.
