Pros: 1. Great Visuals of the west feels like in the real thing .
2. Fantastic story and Gameplay.
3. Tons and tons of things to do in the game sandbox.

GTA Western style.

Pros: The theme and story are cool seeing that western movies are surging right now. And it's just plain fun chasing down and hog-tying some chump and capping it off with a bullet to the rear! The mini-games are addictive. The multi-player mode is beast!
Cons: Saddle soars! Also it's just GTA with a western theme.

Amazing game and great story

Pros: Huge map that has towns and villages for battles and exploring. Horses for transportation and also a train to ride on. It is a really cool game and really fun!
Cons: Not enough guns.
Summary: Great Product and I really recommend buying this game. If you are a fan of rockstar games or play Grand Theft Auto this is the game for you!

Best game ever created for the xbox 360

Pros: Red Dead Redemption has one of the best real life graphics ever seen. Great game play that will keep you playing for a very long time. One of my favorites with a great multi-player and add-on's offered on live.
Cons: Let me tell you, I have nothing bad to say about this game. Some say it freezes up, but it has only done so once or twice for me. I wouldn't be so picky to complain on a minor thing like that. Not a problem for a game with so much stuff to do.

Pros: Very realistic storyline and plot. Amazing and life-like graphics. Excellent voice acting and animations. Realistic sound effects. Multi-player is fun and fantastic especially with friends. Side missions. Hours of game play.
Cons: A few bugs and glitches. Once completed the storyline not much to do besides Multi-player. Ending and the sudden turn-over can be a real turn off.

Summary: Easily the best Rockstar game made to date, or perhaps one of the greatest XBOX 360 games of all-time. It's just the simplicity and the interface of the game that makes the player feel delighted. During the game you will effectively become a close bond with the protagonist. You get lost in the game for hours still getting nowhere in the storyline, but just hunting animals, doing jobs and side missions, stealing horses, or just shooting the hell out of people. The graphics are top-notch, everything is so life-like and realistic even the sound effects. The game is an open-based game meaning you can travel anywhere and well, do anything.
After going through mission after mission, you feel that climax coming up like as if something is going to suddenly happen and change the plot to a whole new level. The ending was amazing but the sudden effect on the game-play might ruin it for others. The multiplayer is just fantastic, it's basically like Single player only with other players running around the world. You can rank up, get new weapons a new mount, a new look. It's stunning.
I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone who has played the GTA series before, or to a Rockstar fan. You will not regret buying this amazing game. It's never too late to go get it, so why not head over and buy it! -

Pros: realistic, believable,accurate e.g names of horses or guns
Cons: once you have finished the campaign there isnt much to do apart from multiplayer

Also in the campaign (and on multiplayer) there's lots of exiting challenges and very exiting and interesting missions... once you have played it for a while you really feel like your john (main player) and you feel sorry for his son at the end (wont give to much away)
so realistic and the people in the game really respond well if you point your gun at them or even smash a window. some of the glitches are funny e.g flying people and talking animals.the gun wounds are realistic and nothing like call of duty

Pros: Great gameplay, good storyline, enough side missions to play for a long time
Cons: Game glitches make it almost unplayable. The game freezes and you have to shut down the console (loosing any new progress) and restart from the last save and I'm talking about every 20-30 minutes. Very frustrating.

Summary: I have been a GTA and Rockstar fan since GTA-3 and was looking forward to a western shooter. I do like the game very much but have refused to play it beause of the screen freezing issues. I have exchanged discs, cleaned cache, played offline and the game still stops at random times. It is not an issue with any other games I have and cooling is not a problem so be warned. Rockstar wants to blame the issues on Xbox or system memory or online connectivity but none of these pertain to my situation.

Summary: The actual missions were good, but the game could've been so much more. After playing through the main story and the side quests (treasure, sharp shooting, hunting, survival) I was so annoyed by the lack of payoff that I don't think I'll ever play the game again. I still jump into Grand Theft Auto San Andreas every once in a while (after 5 years) because it's just fun to do stuff in the environment. I was so excited about the airplane side mission in Red Dead, until I finished it and realized I had just wasted over two hours running around collecting boring items for nothing. Did Rockstar hire some WOW designers for this? A lot of this game reminds me of that pay to play, "stretch out the play-time" mentality where you are collecting stupid repetitive items with little or no payoff for the effort. Overall, I wish I'd remembered that I didn't like GTA4 and stayed away from this beautifully boring time waster. This will probably be my last Rockstar game.

Pros: Rockstar just made it again! Scenarios are fantastic, missions are great, game is very involving. This is the best game I've seen after GTA4.
Cons: Although better than GTA4, I still think the save game process at R* should be improved. We should be able to save game anywhere and not only in certain locations.

Pros: The Game is beautiful. The npc population is surprisingly animated and provides great color that was lacking in other Rockstar games. The combat mechanics are thoughtful and well executed. Multiplayer is extremely fun and replayable.
Cons: NPC/Horse path finding is flawed. They get stuck in weird places or can't find you properly. Can get a little dull between some plot points, but not overly so. Needs more content. John Marston is kind of a weakly acted character.

Summary: Bottom line summary: This is, I believe, the best Rockstar game to date in terms of overall execution. While GTA 3 was a revolution in the development of open world gaming, Red Dead sets a bar for the entire industry. The pure technology side of it gets me excited about the future of these games and what the industry will do with it.
Additionally, anyone who was ever a fan of Clint Eastwood's work in westerns *raises hand* will relish the opportunity to step in to the shoes of an outlaw and tear around the west for a bit. The random events, interactions, and background goings on of the world of New Austin will really give the player the feeling that they are in the transitory period where the west was finally tamed, and will even make you feel a little sad that the era was closing, like an age of legends dying.
