Fun at first, but ends too quick.

Pros: Good graphics, sound, and EXCELLENT gameplay!
Cons: How would you like to play for a couple hours working hard to build a giant empire, only to have a message pop up that says the game will end in ten turns? After the game ends, all your work on that empire is for nothing but 25 Gamerscore.
Summary: Defiantly a good game, but ruined by one giant problem as said above. Other then that, this is a must have for anyone who loves simulation games.

Not as good as it's Forefathers. But still quite fun.

Pros: Graphically it's great. Fn and cartoon like with indepth detail. Easy to get used to and very easy to get the basics.
Cons: Not as involving as games before. Lacks depth. Completed it in 4 hours on my first go and i wasn't on the easiest setting.

Summary: I have loved Civ games from the first time i tried them. They are a constant of enjoyment for me. But this just didn't hit the mark. I think that maybe it had been dumbed down for the console market. But i had Civilisation on the PS1 as well as PC and they were both a joy. Dont get me wrong! Good game? Yes. I just felt it lacked width. If you have played Civ games before dont get your hopes p to high.
