  great game! knocks other star trek games off the market

  Pros: great graphics. real star trek ships. all the different captians voices. the missions.

  Cons: the skirmish battles arent as good as they should be. they dont show the captians, the camera is just flying over the ship. having to make a whole new match after leaving X BOX LIVE.

  Summary: This is a great game for any Star Trek fan of any of the series. The game's great and the story line will keep you playing for hours. The game play itself is solid no glitches, lagging, or anything beyond solid performance in my experiance. As one of posters before me stated the game controls are hard to pick up on especially with an XBox 360 controller. However the game developers tried to rectify this problem with making clever pie menu's, which really is great once you get the hang of exploring the menu's and selecting an operation.
  
  Generally however when playing a game like Star Trek, in fact all my star Trek games are PC based games. I feel that the point and click interface allows easier User Interface without sacraficing game features (or in this case starship features) because lack of controls. However the menu's I mentioned earlier are a midway solution. All in all fantastic game.

  Summary: Okay i enjoyed star trek the next generation but i did not enjoy any other series based on the star trek franchise!! I love this game! The contols are very difficult to pick up at first but once you get a feel for them you'll become the pride of Star Fleet! the story gets redundant after alot of protect these, and destory this, missions. But hey, isn't that what this is all about? I find this game to be a refreshing look at the star trek gaming genres! I thoroughly enjoyed it to the last mision the online play is solid you know what to expect and there is never any doubt about who should have won. I highly recomend this game to everyone who lieks challenges. trekie or not!
